Among those in attendance were, Mayor of Bloomfield Suzette DeBaeatham-Brown, Mayor of Hartford Luke Bronin, State Senator Doug McCory, Judge Foye Smith, and Hartford councilman Thomas Clark.

Mayor Luke Bronin said he was very proud of the recipients and express his appreciation for the work the Friendship Group is doing in Hartford.  He sent the students off with a powerful message about making right choices in this critical time in life.
